2025 Spring Festival holiday trading tips: Hong Kong stocks will be closed in the afternoon of New Year's Eve and will resume trading on the sixth day of the Lunar New Year.
Regarding A-shares, the market will be closed from January 28 (Tuesday) to February 4 (Tuesday), and will resume trading as usual on February 5 (Wednesday).
The Spring Festival holiday in 2025 is approaching. In Hong Kong, the stock market will open for half a day on the morning of January 28 (Tuesday), the eve of Chinese New Year, and will be closed in the afternoon. It will remain closed from January 29 (Wednesday) to January 31 (Friday), and will resume regular trading on February 3 (Monday), the sixth day of the Lunar New Year.
As for the A-share market, it will be closed from January 28 (Tuesday) to February 4 (Tuesday), and will resume regular trading on February 5 (Wednesday). In addition, January 26 (Sunday) and February 8 (Saturday) are weekends and markets will also be closed.
For the Hong Kong Stock Connect (Southbound), Shanghai-Hong Kong and Shenzhen-Hong Kong Stock Connects (Northbound), services will not be available from January 28 (Tuesday) to February 4 (Tuesday), and will resume on February 5 (Wednesday).
The US stock market will operate as usual.
