Jingxi Group announced the complete localization of the fourth generation magneto-rheological technology.

On January 15, Jingxi Group held the localization conference of MagneRide magnetorheological suspension and officially released the "Year of Magnetorheological Declaration", announcing the full localization of the fourth-generation magnetorheological technology. During the conference, Jingxi Group specified the key goals of localizing magnetorheological technology: first, Jingxi Group will achieve 100% localization of magnetorheological components and manufacturing capabilities; second, mass production will be achieved in the first quarter of 2025, enabling China's pure electric platform for the first time; third, to make the price of magnetorheological suspension lower than that of electromagnetic valve suspension. Jingxi Group CEO Liu Xihe said, "The release of the 'Year of Magnetorheological Declaration' by Jingxi Group marks the official localization of world-class magnetorheological technology, highlighting Jingxi Group's efforts to promote intelligent chassis technology in China, help improve the product strength and competitiveness of the whole vehicle industry, and benefit a wide range of users." According to reports, the magnetorheological damper was first invented by the predecessor of Jingxi Group in 2002, put into production and mounted on American luxury car models. It has been in mass production for 22 years. Jingxi Group has iterated the magnetorheological suspension technology to the fourth generation, owning more than 140 patents globally, including more than 40 Chinese patents. Jingxi Group has produced over 10 million magnetorheological dampers in the United States, Poland, and Mexico, providing high-standard chassis technology support for global luxury and super luxury brands. Furthermore, Jingxi Group announced that the production line of magnetorheological suspension has been established in Shenzhen, Guangdong and Zhangjiakou, Hebei. The production capacity of Jingxi Group's magnetorheological suspension production line is expected to reach 2 million units by 2025, responding quickly to the needs of various energy vehicle platforms with high-quality intelligent chassis products, providing strong support for domestic and foreign markets, and laying a solid foundation for the widespread application of intelligent chassis technology. In the future, this production line will quickly expand its production capacity to meet the growing global demand for intelligent chassis systems. With the goal of achieving 100% localization rate, Jingxi Group's magnetorheological suspension production line will not only achieve localization of the supply chain, but also become a core support point for the domestic mass production of magnetorheological suspension technology, accelerating the development of magnetorheological technology in China to a new stage.
