Beijing New Building Materials Public (000786.SZ) announced that the Board of Directors recently received a written resignation report from Mr. Xue Zhongmin, the Chairman of the Company. Due to work requirements, Mr. Xue Zhongmin has applied to resign from his positions as director, chairman of the board, and member of the board's Strategic and ESG Committee, and will continue to fulfill his duties until the election of a new chairman by the Company's Board of Directors. After his resignation, Mr. Xue Zhongmin will no longer hold any position in the Company and its subsidiaries. On January 16, 2025, the 17th interim meeting of the seventh Board of Directors of the Company approved the motion for the election of the Chairman of the seventh Board of Directors, electing Mr. Guanli as the Chairman of the seventh Board of Directors, with a term consistent with that of the seventh Board of Directors.
