On the first day of listing, NEW GONOW RV (00805) broke below the issue price, rising more than 36% intraday today, reaching a high of 1.35 Hong Kong dollars and recovering the issue price of 1.27 Hong Kong dollars. As of the time of writing, it has risen by 26.26%, trading at 1.25 Hong Kong dollars with a turnover of 3.3806 million Hong Kong dollars.
According to the prospectus, NEW GONOW RV is a camper van company with a wide business network in Australia and New Zealand, designing, developing, manufacturing, and selling customized trailers. According to Frost & Sullivan, based on revenue and sales volume in 2023, Nuco ranks second in the camper van industry in Australia and New Zealand.
Furthermore, according to the prospectus, NEW GONOW RV stated that the company is planning to launch electric camper vans. In December 2024, the company signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Gotion High-tech's wholly-owned subsidiary. Guoxuan will provide customized power battery solutions for the company's new electric trailer models and is expected to start research and development in 2025.
