Yunnan Energy New Material (002812.SZ) signed a procurement agreement related to solid-state batteries with Beijing Weilan New Energy, involving a minimum of 300 million square meters of separator.

Yunnan Energy New Material (002812.SZ) announced that on January 13, 2025, its controlling subsidiary Shanghai Enjie New Material Technology Co., Ltd. (referred to as "Shanghai Enjie") and its controlling affiliated companies signed a "Procurement Framework Agreement" with Beijing Weilan New Energy Technology Co., Ltd. (referred to as "Beijing Weilan New Energy"). Beijing Weilan New Energy will purchase 80% of its own material needs from Shanghai Enjie and its controlling affiliated companies for the electrolyte diaphragm for semi-solid-state batteries, electrolytes for all-solid-state batteries, and electrolyte membranes. It is reported that from 2025 to 2030, Beijing Weilan New Energy is expected to place orders with Shanghai Enjie and its controlling affiliated companies for a total of no less than 300 million square meters of electrolyte diaphragms for semi-solid-state and all-solid-state batteries, and for a total of no less than 100 tons of electrolytes for all-solid-state batteries, subject to actual purchase orders.
