According to official news, recently, Huayou Recycling and the world's second largest environmental governance group, SUEZ from France, have officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for cooperation. The two parties will work together to explore cooperation opportunities in the battery processing field in France and other regions in Europe. Huayou Recycling has recently finalized multiple cooperation agendas, including collaborating with ENVISION GREEN (01783) in battery recycling and reverse logistics business, further promoting its recycling network in Europe and creating a closed-loop battery industry chain. Through international collaboration with SUEZ from France, the two parties will further promote the recycling of resources and support the achievement of the EU's GREEN ECONOMY goals. In addition, Huayou Green Energy Technology Netherlands B.V. signed a battery recycling cooperation agreement with ENVISION GREEN on December 27, 2024. This cooperation is part of the strategic partnership between Huayou Recycling and ENVISION GREEN. In September 2024, ENVISION GREEN and Huayou Recycling signed a Memorandum of Understanding to collaborate on battery recycling and reverse logistics business. According to the agreement, the two parties will utilize Europe's existing 31 recycling service points to provide end customers with one-stop battery recycling and processing services. Huayou Green Energy Netherlands will also comply with the latest EU battery regulations to properly handle all types of lithium batteries collected by ENVISION GREEN at its European localized processing points. In recent years, Huayou Recycling Industrial Group has deeply explored the advantages of its integrated industry structure and innovatively proposed a "low-carbon circular ecological management of the lithium battery lifecycle" solution.
