Bausch + Lomb (BLCO.US) announced on Monday that after obtaining CE certification at the end of last year, the enVista Aspire monofocal and toric intraocular lenses (IOLs) are now available on the market in the European Union. The enVista Aspire combines new intermediate optimizing optical elements with the mature advantages of the enVista platform to meet the visual needs of the modern digital world. Luc Bonnefoy, President of Bausch + Lomb Surgical, stated, "Surgeons around the world have long been aware of the advantages of the enVista platform." As of the time of publication, Bausch + Lomb was up 2.42% in pre-market trading, at $18.19.
