According to media reports, Shanxi Guoxin Energy Corporation's leading car battery company Contemporary Amperex Technology (300750.SZ) may hire Bank of America, CICC, China Securities Co., Ltd., JP Morgan, and other institutions to lead the arrangements for its second listing in Hong Kong. Morgan Stanley previously estimated that Contemporary Amperex Technology could raise approximately 6.8 billion to 7.7 billion US dollars (approximately 53.04 billion to 60.06 billion Hong Kong dollars) in its Hong Kong listing.
In December of last year, Contemporary Amperex Technology announced that after approval by its shareholders' meeting, it aims to complete its listing in Hong Kong within 18 months at the earliest, and plans to hire a Hong Kong accounting firm as the audit institution for the listing. In terms of issuance size, Contemporary Amperex Technology stated that the number of H shares issued this time will not exceed 5% of the expanded total share capital, and up to 15% of oversubscription rights will be granted to the overall coordinator.
