KARRIE INT'L (01050) announced that on January 10, 2025, its indirect wholly-owned subsidiary KarTech Thai (as buyer) entered into a land purchase agreement with Amata Corporation (as seller). KarTech Thai conditionally agreed to acquire land from Amata Corporation for a total consideration of approximately 501.6 million Thai Baht, subject to adjustments.
The land is located in the Amata Industrial Estate in Chonburi Province, consisting of three plots with a total area of 43.7620 rai (approximately 70,019 square meters).
Through this acquisition, the group plans to establish a new production plant in Thailand for manufacturing server casings and related server peripherals, in order to expand overseas production capacity, meet the increasing demand for comprehensive server casing solutions worldwide, explore new customers and business opportunities, as well as optimize global supply chain management.
On the same day, the company's indirect wholly-owned subsidiary Karwin Thai (as tenant) entered into a lease agreement with Amata Summit (as landlord) for leasing property. As a temporary measure to meet customer orders, the group has leased property during the construction of the new production plant on the land for use as a temporary factory.
