On the news front, on January 8th, Jiangsu Lopal Tech. announced that it had signed a subscription agreement with investors INA and Aisis, who agreed to subscribe for shares of the target company, accounting for approximately 34.01% and 11.34% respectively after the company's share expansion. The total subscription price is 200 million US dollars, which the investors will pay to the target company on the completion date. After the completion, Jiangsu Lopal Tech. will hold approximately 64.03% of the existing shareholders' equity, while the existing shareholders will hold 54.65% of the target company's equity.
In addition, the announcement mentioned that the company will adjust its external investment plans, mainly to strengthen research and market expansion in the field of lithium iron phosphate positive electrode materials. According to financial data, the total assets of the target company as of October 31, 2024, were 8.14 billion yuan, liabilities were 3.01 billion yuan, and revenue had not officially started. The company plans to hold an extraordinary shareholders' meeting on January 24, 2025, for shareholders to consider and approve the above-mentioned transactions and external investment adjustments.
