On Wednesday, the Philadelphia Semiconductor Index fell by 0.85%, with chip stocks generally trading lower. As of the time of writing, Nano Semiconductor (NVTS.US) dropped more than 11%, Wolfspeed (WOLF.US) fell more than 8%, MaxLinear (MXL.US) dropped 5.1%, Super Micro Computer, Inc. (SMCI.US) fell more than 4.5%, AMD (AMD.US) fell more than 3.5%, GlobalFoundries (GFS.US) fell 2.66%, Cirrus Logic, Inc. (CRUS.US) fell 1.77%, STMicroelectronics NV ADR RegSADR (STM.US) fell more than 3%, Skyworks Solutions, Inc. (SWKS.US) fell more than 1.6%, and ON Semiconductor Corporation (ON.US) fell over 2.5%. NVIDIA Corporation (NVDA.US) bucked the trend and rose more than 2.2%.
