To promote the innovative development and standardized application of generative AI services, by 2024, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, together with relevant departments, will continue to carry out the registration of generative AI services in accordance with the "Interim Measures for the Management of Generative AI Services". As of December 31, 2024, a total of 302 generative AI services have been registered with the National Cyberspace Administration, with 238 new registrations in 2024. For generative AI applications or functions that directly call on registered model capabilities through API interfaces or other means, a total of 105 generative AI applications or functions were registered with local cyberspace administrations in 2024. The relevant information is now being announced. For generative AI services that have public opinion attributes or social mobilization capabilities, the local cyberspace administration may handle the registration procedures. Generative AI applications or functions that are already online should prominently display or include information about the registered generative AI services used on their product details pages, including the model name, registration number, or online identifier.
