Zijin Mining Group (601899.SH) donates cash and supplies to the earthquake-stricken area in Tibet.

Zijin Mining Group (601899.SH) issued an announcement that on January 7 at 9:00 Beijing time, a 6.8 magnitude earthquake occurred in Dingri County, Shigatse City, Tibet, resulting in significant casualties and a large number of collapsed buildings. The disaster area is located in a high-altitude and cold area on the plateau, in the midst of winter, and the affected population urgently needs assistance.
To assist the disaster-stricken area and fulfill corporate social responsibility, the board of directors agreed for the company and its affiliated enterprises in Tibet to collectively donate 30 million RMB in cash to the earthquake-stricken area for emergency relief, assistance to the affected population, support for rescue teams, and post-disaster reconstruction. Of this amount, the company's headquarters is donating 10 million RMB, Tibet Julong Copper Co., Ltd. (Julong Copper Mine) is donating 10 million RMB, Tibet Xianglong Mining Co., Ltd. (Zhuno Copper Mine) is donating 5 million RMB, and Tibet Alilaguo Resources Co., Ltd. (Laguo Lake Lithium Mine) is donating 5 million RMB.
In addition, Julong Copper Mine and Zhuno Copper Mine immediately organized earthquake relief and rescue teams equipped with rescue command vehicles, ambulances, fire trucks, emergency vehicles, and rescue equipment to the disaster area after the earthquake. The first batch of rescue personnel arrived on the evening of January 7. At the same time, the affiliated enterprises in Tibet urgently purchased necessary rescue supplies for the disaster area. The first batch of supplies, including 1,300 coats, 1,000 blankets, 500 mattresses, 400 tents, as well as blankets, cotton shoes, bread, drinking water, and other warm and essential supplies, arrived in the early morning of January 8.
