Apple Inc. (AAPL.US) plans to release as many as 20 or more products in 2025, including a possible new MacBook Air that could be launched as early as this month, but service revenue will continue to be the main driver of growth. Although the new iPhone may once again become a best-selling product for this tech giant, Apple Inc. will also release a series of new hardware products throughout the year.
SA analyst Jonathan Weber said, "The most important new product for Apple Inc. in 2025 will be the iPhone 17, but the company should also introduce new Apple Watch, new laptops and Mac computers, and possibly the next generation Vision Pro. Home products may be launched in 2025, and based on their content, there could be positive surprises. Either way, this year's growth is likely to depend on the growth of service revenue, which has been the case for quite some time."
According to some reports, new MacBook Air models with M4 chips in 13-inch and 15-inch sizes will be available as early as this month. Bloomberg's senior Apple Inc. writer Mark Gurman posted in late December on X that the M4 MacBook Air will be released earlier than the new entry-level iPad, iPad Air, and iPhone SE, which are expected to be launched around March.
Gurman also hinted that Apple Inc. will release a smart home display product called "Command Center." It will be similar to the company's HomePod device. Guo Mingqi, an analyst at Tianfeng International Securities, believes that Apple Inc. will launch a smart home camera in 2026, which will be combined with the smart home display product. It is expected that Apple Inc. will also release AirTag 2 in mid-2025, a tracking device first released in 2021, expected to be equipped with updated wireless chips, improved speakers, and possibly integrated with Vision Pro. Additionally, the new Mac Studio, Mac Pro, and Apple TV 4K are expected to be released in the first half of 2025.
Furthermore, later this year, possibly in September, consumers should expect to see the release of iPhone 17 Pro and Pro Max, AirPods Pro 3, Apple Watch Series 11, and Apple Watch Ultra 3. Vision Pro 2 may also be released later this year. iPad Pro and MacBook Pro with the new M5 chip may also be launched later this year, speeding up the utilization of artificial intelligence on these devices.
Julian Lin, head of the Best of Breed growth Stocks investment group, said, "Although products like AirTag or Vision Pro may not drastically change the financial situation, I believe that these new products will help further strengthen the brand's moat and ultimately contribute to the growth of service revenue."
