"Intensification of research and development and channel empowerment of AI glasses to boost production volume, accelerating the breakthrough of smart glasses."
On January 2nd, the consumer-grade AR brand RayBird Innovation RayNeo held a strategic signing ceremony with Aliyun (Alibaba Cloud). They announced an exclusive strategic cooperation in the field of AI glasses, where the Tongyi series large-scale models will provide exclusive customized technical support for RayBird Innovation's AI glasses. This is reportedly the first in-depth customization collaboration between a large-scale model and an AI glasses hardware manufacturer in China. The Aliyun Tongyi series large-scale models will provide a full set of AI technology and product support for RayBird Innovation's AI glasses. Both parties will invest resources and manpower in research and development, focusing on areas such as cloud computing, large-scale models, and AI hardware, around the core carrier of AI glasses. Furthermore, the AI glasses products that will be showcased at CES this month in the US will include: 1. RayBird V3 (AI glasses in the shape of RayBan META) 2. THUNDEROBOT (3 models, potentially AR glasses with BB solution, array light guide AR glasses, and AI glasses in the shape of RayBan META) 3. Li Weike (AI glasses in the shape of RayBan META) 4. Gyges Labs' Halliday (AI glasses with display, using DigiWindow technology based on retinal projection principle instead of light guide) 5. JINGCHE Technology (AI glasses in the shape of RayBan META) 6. Lotus Technology (AR glasses) 7. Dapeng (XR and AI glasses products) 8. Shenzhen KTC Technology (AI glasses in the shape of RayBan META) 9. Vuzix (showcasing a new generation of light guide + smart glasses reference design) 10. Qijing Optoelectronics (showcasing a prototype of AR glasses using LCoS technology) 11. Sony (XR glasses) A research report released by Open Source Securities states that the collision of fashion and technology in AI smart glasses is accelerating, and the demand potential is being preliminarily verified. Multiple brands of AI glasses are selling well on the market, with an accelerated expansion of supply side capacity.
