On Tuesday, Chinese solar energy stocks rose, as of the time of publication, Daqo New Energy Corp Sponsored ADR (DQ.US) rose by over 10%, Jinko Solar (JKS.US) rose by over 3.7%, and CSI Solar Co., Ltd. CECEP Solar Energy (CSIQ.US) rose by 0.94%. On the news front, senior officials in the Biden administration are considering exempting Mexico from tariffs on imported CECEP Solar Energy equipment, but a final decision has not yet been made. This decision could benefit a Chinese-owned solar energy company.
