Tongcheng Travel (00780) has deployed to enter the overseas market and launched a new generation travel platform HopeGoo. Shen Wenjing, CEO of HopeGoo, announced that WeChat HK and Alipay HK have already been integrated into the platform in the first half of the year, and the platform has also been connected to the backend of Octopus APP. Users can book train tickets through the Octopus APP, and the related services will be launched during the Christmas period. As for hotel, flight, and attraction ticket booking services, they are expected to be launched at the earliest in the first quarter of next year.

Users can purchase global flight tickets, hotels, and train discounts at up to 60% off, as well as flight vouchers up to 799 yuan, by using the HopeGoo App or official website at noon every day. In addition, TONGCHENGTRAVEL and HopeGoo released a "2025 Hong Kong Tourist Travel Trend Report," which points out that Shenzhen and Guangzhou have become the top choices for short trips for Hong Kong residents, while Beijing, Shanghai, Haikou, and Harbin are the preferred destinations for long trips. According to HopeGoo data, popular cities for Hong Kong residents to travel to in the north are still concentrated in the Greater Bay Area, with the top 5 cities being Shenzhen, Guangzhou, Zhuhai, Foshan, and Dongguan. The report predicts that in these cities, Hong Kong residents aged 25-36 will travel an average of 9.24 times per year, while those aged 36-45 will increase their annual trips to 11.26 times.
