"Australian vehicle inspection validity extended to one year for inspections conducted in the northbound direction"
Apply for "cross-border vehicle inspection in the north" The validity of the vehicle inspection document issued by the Macao Transport Bureau has been extended from six months to one year.
On November 20th, the Macao Transport Bureau announced that in order to further facilitate Macao residents applying for or reapplying for the "Macao Vehicle Northward" scheme, and after coordinating with relevant mainland units and cross-border vehicle inspection centers, starting from December 1st, if a vehicle has passed inspection by the Macao Transport Bureau and the results are satisfactory, the vehicle can be exempt from on-site safety performance inspection within one year from the date of issuance of the inspection result certificate, with relevant proof. However, the vehicle still needs to undergo a "uniqueness" feature inspection at the relevant vehicle inspection center (although the "uniqueness" feature inspection may also be exempted if reapplying under specific conditions).
