Daheng New Epoch Technology, Inc. (600288.SH) announced that in order to meet the needs of the company's business development, improve business layout, expand overseas optoelectronics business, thin film business and machine vision business markets, enhance competitiveness and service capability in overseas markets, and promote globalization strategy, the company held its fourth meeting of the ninth board of directors on November 20, 2024, and approved the "Proposal on the establishment of overseas subsidiary by the company for external investment". The company plans to invest $3 million (approximately RMB 22 million) in Japan with its own funds to establish a wholly-owned subsidiary, with the investment mainly used for site lease, personnel wages, equipment procurement, working capital, and other expenses. The actual investment amount is subject to the approval of Chinese and local authorities.
