Aluminum Corporation Of China (02600) plans to terminate the transfer of assets and equity to a subsidiary company in high-end aluminum manufacturing owned by Chinalco.

Aluminum Corporation Of China (02600) announced that at the eighth meeting of the tenth session of the board of directors held on March 21, 2023, and the eleventh meeting of the eighth session of the board of directors held on April 25, 2023, the board approved the "Proposal on the transfer of subsidiary company's equity to Aluminum Corporation Of China Group High-end Manufacturing Co., Ltd." and the "Proposal on the transfer of subsidiary company's assets and equity to Aluminum Corporation Of China Group High-end Manufacturing Co., Ltd." by Yunnan Aluminum Co., Ltd. As formal agreements have not been signed by the relevant parties regarding the transfer of assets and equity mentioned above, the transactions have not yet been implemented. The Company has repositioned and arranged the assets and equity intended for transfer based on its strategic development plan. After unanimous agreement through negotiations with all parties and approval from the board of directors, it has been decided to terminate the above transactions. The Company will no longer transfer related assets and equity to Aluminum Corporation Of China Group High-end Manufacturing.
