Goldwind Science & Technology (02208) provides guarantees to its South African subsidiary Goldwind New Energy.

Goldwind Science & Technology (02208) announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary Goldwind International Holdings (Hong Kong) Limited (referred to as "Goldwind International") has signed a Wind Turbine Supply and Erection Agreement with South African energy company Karreebosch Wind Farm (Proprietary) Limited through its subsidiary Goldwind New Energy South Africa Proprietary Limited (referred to as "Goldwind New Energy South Africa"). Goldwind New Energy South Africa will provide turbine supply and erection services for Karreebosch Wind Farm. Goldwind Science & Technology and Goldwind International have each signed a Parent Company Guarantee Agreement to jointly provide guarantees for the performance and default compensation obligations of Goldwind New Energy South Africa under the above Wind Turbine Supply and Installation Agreement. The maximum guarantee amount is not more than RMB 780,507,959 (if the guaranteed party violates the performance obligations of the Wind Turbine Supply and Installation Agreement in terms of law, environmental protection, compensation, intellectual property infringement, etc., resulting in the guarantee amount not covering the compensation obligations of the guaranteed party under the Wind Turbine Supply and Installation Agreement, then the actual guarantee amount shall prevail). The guarantee period is from the date of signing the Parent Company Guarantee Agreement until Goldwind New Energy South Africa has fulfilled all responsibilities and obligations under the Wind Turbine Supply and Erection Agreement. The signing date of this Parent Company Guarantee Agreement is November 19, 2024, and the signing location is Beijing.
