Shandong Humon Smelting (002237.SZ) announced that, according to a previous announcement, the company disclosed a safety accident at its smelting subsidiary. After the accident, the smelting subsidiary involved stopped production for rectification.
After the accident, the company strictly investigated and implemented corrections for the hidden dangers as required by the higher supervisory department. On November 18, 2024, the company received the "Rectification Review Opinion" issued by the emergency management bureau of Muping District, Yantai City (Lu Yan Mou Emergency Review [2024] No. 13). After the review, the company's smelting subsidiary was approved to resume production. Accordingly, the smelting subsidiary is carrying out preparatory work for orderly resumption of production. The company will strictly implement the requirements of the "Rectification Review Opinion", fulfill its corporate responsibilities, ensure safety measures are in place, promptly identify and eliminate hazards to ensure the stable operation of the company's production.
