The Hong Kong Tourism Board announced that the preliminary number of visitors to Hong Kong in October was approximately 4.1 million, an increase of 18% compared to the same period last year. Cumulatively, there have been nearly 36.7 million visitor arrivals from January to October this year, a 37% increase compared to last year. Among them, the number of non-mainland visitors reached nearly 8.3 million, an increase of almost 50%. In addition, the Hong Kong Tourism Board will present the annual event "Hong Kong WinterFest" from November 22 to January 1 next year. The popular Christmas Town will be even more magnificent this year, bringing more joy to residents and tourists. At the same time, there will be a total of four winter Victoria Harbour Fireworks displays at the West Kowloon Waterfront, with three of them taking place during the Christmas holiday period. In conjunction with various festive celebrations across the city, there will be a New Year countdown fireworks display to create a festive atmosphere. To kick off the "Hong Kong WinterFest", the West Kowloon Cultural District will host the "West Kowloon Christmas Market" from November 22 to December 8 (every Friday to Sunday) and from December 12 to 29, creating a more festive atmosphere along the West Kowloon Waterfront.
