Air China Limited (601111.SH) announced that in October 2024, the group's passenger turnover (measured by revenue passenger kilometers) increased year-on-year. Passenger capacity input (measured by available seat kilometers) increased by 14.5% year-on-year, while passenger turnover increased by 22.1% year-on-year. Specifically, domestic passenger capacity input increased by 3.0% year-on-year, with passenger turnover increasing by 11.5%; international passenger capacity input increased by 55.5% year-on-year, with passenger turnover increasing by 65.4%; regional passenger capacity input increased by 30.2% year-on-year, with passenger turnover increasing by 35.8%. The average passenger load factor was 81.9%, an increase of 5.1 percentage points year-on-year. Among them, domestic routes increased by 6.5 percentage points, international routes by 4.5 percentage points, and regional routes by 2.9 percentage points.
In terms of cargo, cargo capacity input (measured by available freight ton kilometers) increased by 20.3% year-on-year, while cargo and mail turnover (measured by revenue freight ton kilometers) increased by 35.5% year-on-year. The cargo load factor was 37.3%, an increase of 4.2 percentage points year-on-year.
