Yunnan Tourism (002059.SZ) announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary, Shenzhen Overseas Chinese Town Culture and Tourism Technology Group Co., Ltd. (referred to as Cultural and Tourism Technology), recently received a notice from the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the People's Republic of China announcing the list of the first batch of Ministry of Culture and Tourism Technology Innovation Centers. Cultural and Tourism Technology, as the supporting unit, successfully passed the acceptance inspection of the "Theme Park Facility Integration and Intelligent Management Ministry of Culture and Tourism Technology Innovation Center" jointly established with China United Network Communications Shenzhen Branch and Shenzhen Technical University, becoming one of the first 11 officially operating Ministry of Culture and Tourism Technology Innovation Centers. It is reported that the Technology Innovation Center was approved for establishment by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism in August 2023, relying on Cultural and Tourism Technology's solid technical research and development strength, focusing on two core research directions: the research and integration of theme park amusement facilities and the technology for monitoring and managing the safety of amusement facilities. The above research aims to solve key issues such as the lack of innovation in large-scale amusement facilities and the lag in safety monitoring and warning technology, intending to drive the continuous iterative upgrade of cultural and tourism products through technological innovation, enhance the overall quality of theme parks and visitor experience, and promote the high-quality and sustainable development of the cultural tourism industry. During the establishment of the Technology Innovation Center, the key industrial project "Dynamic Flight Cinema" was awarded as an excellent case of national cultural and tourism equipment technology improvement in 2024, showcasing the research and development strength and results transformation capability of the Technology Innovation Center.
