HXTL (01085) announced that its subsidiary Zhejiang Zhongguang New Energy Technology Co., Ltd. (Zhongguang New Energy) recently successfully entered the 350MW solar thermal project in Delingha, which was selected as a demonstration (pilot) project for solar thermal power generation in Qinghai Province in 2024.
Upon completion of the Qinghai project, it will become the world's largest single solar thermal project. It will greatly alleviate the shortage of flexible peak-shifting power supply in Qinghai Province and provide strong support for the safe and stable operation of the local power system, promote the integration of local wind and solar energy, and contribute to the construction of Qinghai Province as a national clean energy industry hub.
Zhongguang New Energy also previously won the bid for the production operation and maintenance services project for the Turpan solar thermal integrated with photovoltaic project of the subsidiary of CH ENERGY ENG Co., Ltd. (Zhongnengjian), Zhejiang Huaye Electric Power Engineering Co., Ltd.
The project of Zhongnengjian has a installed capacity of 100MW for the solar thermal part and 900MW for the photovoltaic part. The operation and maintenance service period of the project is three years. Zhongguang New Energy will rely on its professional solar thermal power plant operation and maintenance team to achieve complementarity of advantages, mutual technology sharing, and jointly enhance the operation and maintenance efficiency of the Turpan project solar thermal power plant. Signing the service contract not only aligns with one of the three core strategic business directions of Zhongguang New Energy, "operation and maintenance + development," but also lays a solid foundation for the company to continue actively expanding the market of solar thermal power plant operation and maintenance services in the new energy and service business sector of the group.
The announcement stated that the successful selection and bid for the above projects will continue to promote the diversified development strategy of the group's business, continuously improve the group's profitability and operational capabilities, and contribute to the long-term development of the group.
