On September 25, UNI MEDICAL completed the acquisition of Shandong Qingniao Ruantong (hereinafter referred to as "Qingniao Ruantong"), holding 51% of Qingniao Ruantong's equity and becoming its controlling shareholder. UNI MEDICAL and Qingniao Ruantong will jointly explore new drivers of performance growth, creating a one-stop smart elderly care solution for the government and seniors through consulting design, online operations, offline services, and pension finance.
Qingniao Ruantong successfully listed on the New Third Board in 2015, and is a national high-tech enterprise, a specialized and innovative enterprise in Qingdao, and one of the third batch of smart healthcare pilot enterprises recognized by the Ministry of Civil Affairs and the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology. As a leading company in the field of smart healthcare for the elderly in China, Qingniao Ruantong has rich experience in the integration and development of online medical care information and offline comprehensive medical services, with services covering multiple provinces across the country. The smart elderly care platform covers more than 70 cities and 140 counties, with over 49,000 smartly renovated home care beds.
With the aging population and the rising awareness of cognitive levels and health management among the elderly, the smart medical care industry is gradually becoming an important part of the national strategy. As a state-owned medical health group, UNI MEDICAL has been continuously expanding its footprint in the smart medical care industry in recent years, aiming to seize the market opportunities in the silver-haired economy wave and enhance the company's core competitiveness through the deep integration of industrial operations and financial capital. This acquisition "gives Qingniao the wings of medical care and finance," leveraging UNI MEDICAL's nationwide medical resources and strong financial strength, as well as Qingniao Ruantong's rich experience in information system construction and entity service operation as a leader in the smart medical care industry. Both parties will explore innovation in technology and service models, promote the development of the health industry through solid advancement of new quality productivity, and leverage smart technology to facilitate hospitals in providing home medical care services and assist elderly care institutions in improving quality and efficiency.
In the future, UNI MEDICAL will continue to focus on building an integrated smart medical care service system for home-community-institution, creating a "three-bed linkage" model, linking hospital beds, medical and nursing home beds, and family medical care beds to extend hospital medical care services to the community and home, providing integrated high-quality medical care services for the elderly, and becoming a leader in the smart medical care industry, a disruptor in the home medical care field, a designer and provider of the best overall medical care solutions, helping to develop the elderly care industry in China and create a new brand of smart medical care for state-owned enterprises.
