The National Day holiday is approaching. According to reports from multiple travel agencies, long-distance trips have become the main choice for this year's National Day holiday bookings, with destinations such as Xinjiang and Chongqing becoming popular, especially for enjoying the autumn scenery. Staff members have mentioned that the National Day holiday travelers tend to be younger, and travel agencies are offering more leisurely and personalized travel products. Industry insiders have stated that the average prices for flight tickets and hotels during this year's National Day holiday have decreased. The overall price of outbound group tours has decreased by 20% to 30% compared to last year, with a significant increase in value for the price. Data from Ctrip shows that as of September 23, domestic parent-child travel orders during the National Day holiday have doubled compared to the week before the holiday, parent-child hotel orders have increased by over three times, and theme park orders have grown by nearly 30%, with parent-child tourists accounting for 40%. In the Yangtze River Delta region, parent-child theme park orders have more than tripled compared to the week before the holiday, parent-child travel orders have increased by 316%, and parent-child hotel orders have quadrupled. Furthermore, domestic self-driving tour orders have increased by 140% compared to 2019; the outbound self-driving tour market is expected to have a compound annual growth rate of over 30% in the next three years. With the rapid growth of the self-driving tour market, Ctrip recently launched a tourist guide platform for the first time in the industry. This platform will cover over 2,000 destinations worldwide and provide systematic training and certification, fair traffic distribution, and order income protection for nearly 100,000 tour guides. According to the data from the Department of Culture and Tourism's data center, there have been 107 million domestic trips in the country, an increase of 6.3% compared to the same period in 2019; domestic tourists have spent a total of 51.047 billion RMB, an 8% increase compared to the same period in 2019; the per capita tourist spending has recovered to 101.6% of the same period in 2019, surpassing the recovery rates of the New Year's Day, Spring Festival, Tomb-Sweeping Day, Labor Day, and Dragon Boat Festival holidays, reaching a new high in recovery rates. Despite the impact of a strong typhoon in the East China region during the Mid-Autumn Festival this year, there has been a good recovery in terms of tourist numbers and per capita spending, with CICC believing that domestic tourism shows high resilience.
