On Friday, chip stocks fell. As of the time of writing, AMD (AMD.US) dropped more than 2%, NVIDIA Corporation (NVDA.US) dropped more than 1.5%, and Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co., Ltd. Sponsored ADR (TSM.US) dropped more than 1%. The US stock market in general also saw declines, with the Nasdaq falling by 0.75%, the S&P 500 index dropping 0.53%, and the Dow Jones Industrial Average falling by 0.26%.
