ENVISION GREEN (01783) announced that on September 20, 2024, the company entered into subscription agreements with two subscribers to issue a total of 19.668 million subscription shares, accounting for approximately 1.54% of the enlarged share capital. The subscription price for each subscription share is HK$4.20, expected to raise approximately HK$82.6 million in funds, with net proceeds of approximately HK$82.5 million.
In May of this year, ENVISION GREEN announced that the company had signed lease agreements for the T2 and T3 sections of the Tuen Mun Environmental Park, with a leased area of approximately 9,420 square meters dedicated to operating a retired power battery processing business; and has commissioned the construction of a processing facility at the location.
In addition to expanding the company's shareholder base, 50% of the net proceeds from this subscription will be used for the construction of the environmental park project processing facility, with the remaining 50% to be used for the company's general operating funds.
