Quick Hands and Smart AI have launched China's first AIGC Director Co-creation Program.
On September 9th, Kuaishou (01024) announced the official launch of the "Keling AI" film co-creation program, jointly with 9 top directors including Li Shaohong, Jia Zhangke, Ye Jintian, Xue Xiaolu, Yu Baimi, Dong Runnian, Zhang Chiyu, Wang Zichuan, and Wang Maomao, to release 9 AIGC film shorts. It is reported that all 9 shorts will be generated by Keling AI, with film directors relying entirely on video-generated large models, and involving a deep group in the creation of film-level content, which is a first in China.
Gai Kun, Senior Vice President of Kuaishou and head of the Main Station Business and Community Science Line, said that Keling AI and 9 renowned Chinese directors initiated the AIGC film short co-creation program, aiming to explore the boundaries of new technology in the field of film and TV production through the deep integration of humanistic art and AIGC technology. "As pioneers, we hope to seize the historical opportunity of industry intelligence upgrading together with the film and television industry, and explore the new industry ecology and industrial new pattern of generative AI together."
