FTSE Russell announces changes to the quarterly review of the FTSE China 50 Index and other indexes, with China Tower (00788) being added to the FTSE China 50 Index components this time.
On September 4, FTSE Russell announced changes to the quarterly review of indexes such as the FTSE China 50 Index, which will take effect after the close of trading on September 20, 2024 (Friday) (i.e. September 23, 2024, Monday). The component stock of the FTSE China 50 Index for this review will include CHINA TOWER (00788).
In addition, FTSE Russell also disclosed the new season's list of alternative stocks for the FTSE China 50 Index, which will take immediate effect until the next quarter's review of component stocks, if one or more component stocks are removed. The alternative stocks are CMSCH shares (06099), Fuyao Glass Industry GroupHshares (03606), Guotai JunanHshares (02611), Shandong Gold MiningH shares (01787), and ZTE CorporationH shares (00763).
