FTSE China A50 index adjustment: Including China National Nuclear Power (601985.SH), Huaneng Lancang River Hydropower Inc. (600025.SH)

On September 4th, FTSE Russell announced changes to the FTSE China A50 Index and other indexes as part of their quarterly review. The changes will take effect after the market closes on September 20, 2024 (Friday), which means it will be effective on September 23, 2024 (Monday). The new components of the FTSE China A50 Index will include China National Nuclear Power (601985.SH) and Huaneng Lancang River Hydropower Inc. (600025.SH), while China Tourism Group Duty Free Corporation (601888.SH) and Yihai Kerry Arawana Holdings (300999.SZ) will be removed. Furthermore, FTSE Russell also released a list of new potential components for the next quarter's FTSE China A50 Index. The potential components will be effective immediately and will remain until the next review of the index's components. The potential components include China Coal Energy (601898.SH), China CSSC (600150.SH), China United Network Communications (600050.SH), CMOC Group Limited (603993.SH), and NAURA Technology Group (002371.SZ).
