On August 23, the National Energy Administration released the national electricity industry statistics for the period of January to July. By the end of July, the cumulative installed capacity of power generation in the country was about 3.10 billion kilowatts, an increase of 14.0% year-on-year. Among them, the installed capacity of CECEP Solar Energy was about 0.74 billion kilowatts, an increase of 49.8% year-on-year; the installed capacity of wind power was about 0.47 billion kilowatts, an increase of 19.8% year-on-year. From January to July, the average utilization of electricity generation equipment in the country accumulated to 1994 hours, a decrease of 91 hours compared to the same period last year. From January to July, the total investment in power projects by major power generation companies in the country was 415.8 billion yuan, an increase of 2.6% year-on-year.
