Shanghai's household appliance replacement subsidy activity will start its first round of registration on September 20th.

Journalists learned from the Shanghai Municipal Commerce Commission on September 18th that the first round of "Trade-in Subsidies for Old Appliances and Furniture" qualification vouchers will soon be issued. The registration time is from 9:30 on September 20th to 20:00 on September 22nd, and individual consumers in Shanghai are eligible to register. Individual consumers can log in to the relevant registration channels during the specified time to select the desired category for registration. After the registration deadline, consumer registration information will be provided to a third-party notary agency, which will select the winning consumers through a limited lottery draw. The results of the lottery will be notified to consumers through the original registration channel and via SMS. Consumers can also check the lottery results through the original registration channel. Winning consumers must collect their subsidy vouchers for the selected category between 9:30 on September 25th and 23:59 on September 26th. Failure to collect the vouchers by the deadline will be considered as automatic abandonment, and they can continue to participate in the activity for that category. The subsidy vouchers are valid for 14 days from the date of collection by the consumer. If consumers fail to redeem the subsidy vouchers within the specified time, it will be considered as automatic abandonment, and they can continue to participate in the activity for that category. Consumers can choose to redeem the subsidy at participating merchants either online or offline.
