American consumers lead the revival trend of Burberry's performance.
The Burberry company is gradually regaining confidence. After a difficult period, this British fashion brand is now showing signs of recovery, with American consumers leading the trend. In the three months ending on June 28, Burberry's sales in the Americas increased by 4%. This performance is encouraging, reversing the downward trend of the previous few quarters. Although it cannot be considered a complete comeback yet, for a brand aiming to return to the high-end market, such a trend is enough to boost confidence. Joshua Schulman, who has been CEO for a year, said that the growth in performance is due to the support of loyal customers and new consumers. Whether it is the flagship store on Fifth Avenue or shopping centers in the suburbs, the Burberry brand seems to be reconnecting with customers.
