Due to the influence of the trough at the rear of the subtropical high, heavy rain occurred in Jilin Province's Jilin City from 17:00 on July 20 to 2:00 on July 21, with locally heavy rainfall. The average precipitation during the event was 67.2 millimeters, with the highest amount recorded in Shuangcha Village, Taishang Town, reaching 169.3 millimeters. The precipitation is expected to continue. The Jilin City Flood Control and Drought Relief Headquarters decided to upgrade the flood control emergency response level from Level IV to Level III at 3:00 on July 21.
