Typhoon "Vipa" caused serious impacts in Guangdong, and the national fourth-level disaster relief emergency response has been initiated.

On July 20, the National Committee for Disaster Reduction and Relief activated a national level four emergency response in response to the severe impact of Typhoon "Wipha" in Guangdong Province this year. A working group was dispatched to the disaster area to assess the situation on the ground, provide guidance, and assist local authorities in ensuring the basic living security of affected people and other disaster relief work.
