Due to the influence of the typhoon, the "Beihai-Weizhou Island" sea passenger route has been suspended completely.

On the afternoon of July 20th, the passenger ship "Beiyu 16" from Weizhou Island to Beihai smoothly arrived at the Qiaogang International Passenger Terminal. With the safe landing of 1064 tourists, the evacuation work of the Weizhou Island to Beihai passenger route was successfully completed. According to the weather forecast, Typhoon "Wipha" No. 6 this year will directly impact the Beibu Gulf and Weizhou Island. To ensure navigation safety, the "Beihai-Weizhou Island" maritime passenger route has been suspended from the afternoon of July 20th. According to meteorological judgment, Beihai Maritime Bureau promptly initiated a level II emergency response to defense against typhoons, and coordinated with relevant units to take action, such as dispatching additional return ships, organizing the evacuation of tourists on the island, and safely transporting over 27,000 evacuees.
