Shenzhen's typhoon orange warning signal has been expanded to the entire city, with 929 emergency shelters fully open.

According to the Shenzhen Flood Prevention Office, Typhoon No. 6 "Wipha" has intensified to typhoon level on the night of the 19th and the center of the typhoon was located at sea, 94 kilometers south of Shenzhen, at 10 a.m. on the 20th. The maximum wind force at the center is level 12, causing severe wind and rain impacts on the city of Shenzhen. As of 8 p.m. on the 19th, 929 indoor emergency shelters across Shenzhen have been fully opened, and more than 100,000 people have been evacuated in advance.
