BHP Billiton's potash project cost surges may become a "stumbling block", annual iron ore and copper production hit record highs.

According to the Smart Finance and Economics APP, BHP.PLUS released its fourth quarter and annual operating report on Friday, showing that its large potash project in Canada has seen cost increases and delays. At the same time, annual iron ore and copper production slightly increased, reaching a historic high.
