Cloud Atlas Holdings: The long-term supply and demand situation of phosphate ore is tightening.
On July 17th, Cloud Atlas Holdings stated during institutional research that the company owns three phosphate mines in Leibo County, Sichuan Province. Currently, they have obtained mining rights for the Ajuolo Xia phosphate mine and the East section of the Niuniuzhai phosphate mine. The Ajuolo Xia phosphate mine is currently under construction with a 2.9 million tons/year mining and selection project, with tunnel excavation and supporting engineering progressing according to plan. The East section of the Niuniuzhai phosphate mine is undergoing optimization design for a 4 million tons/year mining and selection plan in order to further increase the phosphate resource utilization rate and project efficiency. The "Exploration to Mining" procedure for the West section of the Niuniuzhai mine is still in progress.
Phosphate mines are rare mineral resources, and in recent years, the demand for phosphate ore in downstream industries such as phosphate fertilizer, phosphate chemicals, and new energy has been continuously increasing. However, market supply is restricted by factors such as environmental protection restrictions on mining, resource integration, and mining costs. Therefore, the long-term supply and demand situation for phosphate ore is becoming increasingly tight.
