According to customs statistics, in the first four months of this year, China's imports and exports to Chile totaled 163.19 billion yuan, reaching a historical high for the same period, with a year-on-year increase of 5.4%, which is 3 percentage points higher than the overall import and export growth of China. Since the China-Chile Free Trade Agreement came into effect, bilateral trade has grown rapidly, expanding from 70.85 billion yuan in 2006 to 437.95 billion yuan in 2024, with an average annual growth rate of 11.2%.
