In the first four months of this year, the trade volume between China and Colombia reached a historical high for the same period of 483.4 billion yuan.

In the 45 years since the establishment of diplomatic relations between our country and Colombia, the economic and trade exchanges between the two sides have been fruitful. Colombia is the fifth largest trading partner of our country in the Latin American region, and our country has maintained the position of the second largest trading partner of Colombia for many years. According to customs statistics, in the first four months of this year, the total import and export value between our country and Colombia reached 48.34 billion yuan, an increase of 8.5% compared to the same period last year, reaching a historical high. The growth rate is 6.1 percentage points higher than the overall import and export of our country.
