Greek Prime Minister: Greece will purchase two Italian frigates.

Greek Prime Minister Mitsotakis stated on May 24th that the Greek government's National Security Council has approved a plan to upgrade frigates and has decided to procure two Italian Bergamini-class frigates, stating that this will significantly enhance the navy's capabilities in the coming years. Mitsotakis also mentioned that Greece is also moving forward with the procurement of new encrypted communication equipment to strengthen the confidentiality of communication within the armed forces.
