The construction of the bridge over the Huai'an section of the Ninghuai Intercity Railway has been completed.

On May 24, at the construction site of the Ninghuai Intercity Railway project in Jinhu County, Huai'an City, Jiangsu Province, China Railway 16th Bureau successfully completed the erection of the concrete box beams for the Huai'an section of the Ninghuai Intercity Railway with the last beam securely placed on the bridge pier. This accomplishment lays a solid foundation for the accelerated construction of ballastless track slabs in the future. The new Ninghuai Intercity Railway line is approximately 179 kilometers long with a design speed of 350 kilometers per hour. Once completed and operational, it will be connected to the Xuyan High-Speed Railway and Lianzhen High-Speed Railway, contributing to improving the regional intercity rail transportation network layout, facilitating travel for local residents, and promoting the high-quality integrated development of the Yangtze River Delta region.
