The Hubei Provincial Meteorological Observatory issued an orange-level heavy rain warning on May 24 at 3:40 pm: It is expected that from tonight to tomorrow during the day, Enshi, southern Yichang, Jingzhou, Jingmen, Xiaogan, Qianjiang, Tianmen, Xiantao, Wuhan, Huanggang, Huangshi, Ezhou, Xiantao, Yichang, and parts of the northern regions will experience heavy to torrential rain, with some areas in Jingzhou, Xiaogan, Wuhan, Xiantao, Huanggang, and Xiantao experiencing heavy rain, isolated heavy rain, and localized thunderstorms with strong convective weather.
