Serbian President Vucic paid a state visit to China from May 24th to 28th. Today at noon, President Vucic arrived at Beijing Capital International Airport by plane. This is President Vucic's first state visit to China. Serbia is the first European country to jointly build a community with a shared future with China in the new era and is an important partner of China in the Southeast European region. Under the strategic guidance of the leaders of the two countries, China-Serbia relations have been operating at a high level in recent years. The two sides firmly support each other's core interests and major concerns, with solid political mutual trust, fruitful cooperation, close multilateral coordination, and vibrant people-to-people exchanges. During the visit, President Xi Jinping and Premier Li Keqiang will respectively meet with President Vucic to exchange views on bilateral relations and issues of mutual international and regional concern. The spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs previously stated that China is willing to work with Serbia to take President Vucic's visit as an opportunity to strengthen the ironclad friendship, expand mutually beneficial cooperation, enrich cultural exchanges, enhance multilateral coordination, and achieve more practical results in building the community with a shared future between China and Serbia in the new era, benefiting the people of both countries.
