LaGou, the once popular vertical recruitment platform in the internet industry, has filed for bankruptcy. It is reported that both the applicant and defendant in this bankruptcy application are Beijing LaGou Network Technology Co., Ltd., which means "applying for bankruptcy by oneself." Currently, the official website of LaGou can still be accessed, but user comments on many recruitment pages have not been updated for six months; the 400 customer service phone is not answered; the official Weibo and WeChat public accounts have stopped updating since March 2025; and the LaGou app has quietly been removed from the Apple App Store. LaGou was once hailed as the "unicorn of internet recruitment" and was founded in March 2013 by Xu Dandan and others, officially launching "LaGou Recruitment" on July 20 of the same year. Some netizens expressed surprise at the news, saying "I never thought that the recruitment platform I used so often would come to this" and "the former recruitment star has now gone bankrupt."
