According to a report by Sky News UK on February 20th, the British government is considering introducing a new law to remove Prince Andrew, Duke of York, from the line of succession to the throne. However, this action would only take place after the completion of the ongoing police investigation into Andrew. Any changes to the line of succession would also require consultation and agreement with other Commonwealth member countries. Currently, Andrew is eighth in line to the throne, following Prince William and his three children, as well as Prince Harry and his two children.
